While a war is going on in Israel, a group of 13 Israelies came to collect some edible plants together with Uri Mayer Chissick, learn a few things, share a few days and have a piece of Italy from its other side and some peace of mind.
It was all about what we eat from different point of view. Considering it is the common ground of all.
Food: health, community, local, economy, nature, culture. It is a great glue that put people together.
For us it was definitely a royal excuse to walk together, to discover a new thing or two, to make some new friends and experience the human variety.
Simple ways, simple precious ways, make us all feel so very rich.
